Planning a Sweet Holiday Season?
Many of us think about life in terms of the time we're having sex, and the rest of the time (okay, maybe not many of us, but some of us). We do this in part because we tend to separate our sexual life from the rest of our life. But they're connected, and we forget this at our peril! Over the holidays I'm reminded of this because for many of us, our eating habits change radically. And with a sudden change in diet can come many sudden, and much less pleasant, changes in our sexual bodies.
If you're like most people and you're sugar intake is going to spike right around the 25th, you may want to prepare for a very common side effect of eating way too much sugar, one that has temporary sexual implications: the yeast infection. Yeast infections make sexual intercourse painful, often to the point where it just isn't worth it.
Of course you can just avoid sex with intercourse , or you can avoid a dramatic jump in sweets.
But since most of us won't do either of those things, you should take a few minutes and visit About.com's fabulous Alternative Medicine Site and read guide Cathy Wong's review of natural treatments for yeast infections.
