Math equation defines the perfect bottom

Wednesday April 12, 2006

Ever wonder how your backside adds up, mathematically speaking? Do you consider yourself a disciple of derriere?

David Holmes, a psychology professor at Manchester Metropolitan University has developed a formula which he claims "adds up to the perfect posterior" according to a report in the Sunday Times.

The formula, (S+C) x (B+F)/T = V , takes into account shape, bounce, firmness and symmetry, and was developed after soliciting self-evaluations from 2000 women in Britain.

I'm not sure if this is part of the no child left behind curriculum, and I hate the idea of further quantifying our feelings about our body parts, but I suppose if it helps with math skills, it can't be all bad, and he certainly could have found more worrisome things to study.
