Most of the sex toys you find in your local sex store are manufactured in China. This weekend saw the third annual China International Adult Toys & Reproductive Health Exhibition (ADCEXPO) take place in Shanghai, and if you're interested in the newest (and bizzarest) sex toy offerings you can check out pictures and videos of the trade show from the Raincontreras blog and Shanhaiist (both via BoingBoing).

I have used a great sex shop in Shanghai, I went in with my friend, just for a look.
The shop is near the start of Nanjing Lu (which means Nanjing Road)Near the Peace Hotel.
The peace Hotel is on “The Bund” along the Huang Po River, but has a side entrance in Nanjing Lu.
The shop is also only about 100 meters from McDonalds.
Its an odd shop, the front is circular like the tower of an old castle, and it sticks out into the road, so its impossible to miss the shop entrance.
Visit when in Shanghai, its a great little shop with great staff, and you might even get a bargain souvenir from China that you WILL use when you get back home.
