Happy Wednesday

Wednesday February 14, 2007

When you think about it Valentine's Day is like any other day; we spend part of it thinking about sex, and part of it thinking about other stuff. It's just like any other Wednesday, but with more chocolate.

But if you're in a relationship, and not thinking about it, Valentine's Day isn't like any other day at all. It's an important moment when you are expected to demonstrate your feelings for your partner, and if the demonstration isn't sufficiently, you know, demonstrative, there can be negative repercussions.

Considering that Valentine's Day is a multi-billion dollar deal, there are likely more than a few of you feeling the pressure. I wish this wasn't the case, and that my Valentine's Day present to you could be the understanding that love (and lust) is a 24/7 matter, not to be sectioned off. But because everything is easier said than done, and I still want to help with the pressure, my actual Valentine's Day gift to you is one last round of suggestions of things to do, stuff to buy, gifts to make, and schemes to avoid on Valentine's Day. Good luck!
