No Pants 2008 in NYC

Improv Everywhere, a group founded by Charlie Todd, whose mandate is to cause “scenes of chaos and joy in public places” is staging its 7th annual No Pants! Subway Ride in New York City this weekend.

From the Improv Everywhere site:

All are invited to participate in the 7th Annual No Pants! Subway Ride. The event will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 12. Everything you need to know is in this email. Please read it carefully!
REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
1) Willing to take pants off on subway
2) Able to keep a straight face about it

The site goes on to give specific instructions and helpful tips like “If anyone asks you why you’ve removed your pants, tell them that they were “getting uncomfortable.”
