Always the masters of incongruous juxtapositions, BoingBoingtv’s most recent episode features occasional correspondent “Robo” (described as “an ordinary nerd dude who likes to tinker with wearable computing in his free time”) touring Love LA.
The brainchild of Freddy and Eddy founders Ian and Alicia Denchasy, Love LA is a sex positive consumer trade show that I heard many great things about. Not only did it sound like a great time for the folks who turned out, but it’s a unique example of retailers and quality sex toy manufacturers working together.
While watching the segment made me a little sad for having missed it, seeing Robo get hogtied while waxing philosophical about Marshal McLuhan and Beethoven was almost as good as being there in person.
