I often complain about quantitative social science research in this blog. But I had the most fun I've had filling out boxes in a long time with this adorable and frankly long overdue survey from Dr. Debby Herbenick at Indiana University. The survey is called Sexual Intimacy and Expression: A Survey of Men and Women Who Live With Pets and true to it's name it's all about the impact of your dogs and cats on your sex life.
I laughed, I cried (from laughing), I had the chance to express some of my most conflicted and creative thoughts about having a dog who pretty much ALWAYS wants to be the center of attention.
If you've got a pet, check it out. If you know someone who does, pass it along. It's all in the name of science.
