Sex & Latex Allergies

Thursday March 2, 2006

Having sex when you have latex allergies can be tough at times. Many of the products we use to make sex different (like sex toys) and to make sex safer (like condoms, gloves, and dental dams) tend to be made of latex.

It's a bit of a good news/bad news situation for people with latex allergies when it comes to sex.

The good news is that there are non latex options for most sex related products that traditionally contain latex. The bad news is that these alternatives tend to be much more expensive than their latex originals.

Hopefully manufacturers will catch on that there are more and more of us living with latex allergies, and start lowering prices and raising the creativity in latex free sex production. They did it for peanuts...they can do it for latex.
