Sex Blogs

The Internet is filled with sex but these blogs (and a few regulalrly updated websites) do a great job of summarizing, critiquing, and adding to the fun, fascinating, and bizarre sexual conversation that's going on, on line.

Dr. Petra Boynton
Thoughtful commentary on social sexual issues, and sex in the media, and more from sex researcher, lecturer, and evidence-based advice columnist Dr. Petra Boynton.

Tits and Sass
An excellent group blog by sex workers about  their industry and the way it is represented in public. Here's what they say about their blog:  "[We] saw a void when it came to witty commentary on the public image of our industry. The ideas promoted about us in the public eye have an impact on the realities of our lives as sex workers every bit as strong as the law, so we’re not letting any more dead hooker or stripper bones jokes pass by without comment.

RH Reality Check
Offers wonderfully clear, concise, and thoughtful coverage of sexual health topics, with a focus on reproductive health. This is the blog for RH Reality Check, an online community and publication serving individuals and organizations committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Tiny Nibbles
Home base for author, editor, podcaster, and online sextress extrodinaire, Violet Blue. Reading Violet can be a bit addictive.

Funky Brown Chick
The creative home of award-winning American educator Twanna A. Hines, Funky Brown Chick  features humorous stories, sexual health facts, and news about fun events to promote judgment-free, more inclusive sexual health education through media arts.

Ducky Doolittle
Ducky Doolittle is an author, performer, and sex teacher who offers some of the most integrated, supportive, and funny sex advice and inspiration I've ever read. Follow her work on her blog, and if you ever get the chance to see her live, don't miss it.

Sexual Intelligence
Written by Dr. Marty Klein, sex therapist, author, and outspoken political activist, Sexual Intelligence covers the sexual implications of current events, politics, technology, popular culture, and the media.

Scarleteen Newswire
Scarleteen has been offering straightforward sex information and education to teens since 1998. Their blog offers "activist alerts and sexuality news you can use".

Bound, Not Gagged
Another excellent group blog by sex workers and primarily for sex workers, although they are happy to serve as a resource for service providers and the media.

Autostraddle Sex and Relationships
This is cheating a bit, since it's not technically a blog, but Autostraddle is a fun, informative, and often deeply sexy queer site that updates content regularly with warmth and attitude.
