Finding a single definition of orgasm, or even a way of describing different types of orgasms can be a challenge. While there is no one single book that will fit everyones needs, these books about orgasm will likely offer something for everyone. From female ejaculation to psychoanalytic theory, these orgasm books cover the spectrum, and still only scratch the surface of what we may one day understand about human sexual response and orgasm.
I Love Female Orgasm
There are few people who wouldn't get something out of reading this marvelous new book. Sex educators Dorian Solot and Marshall Miller manage to cover a wide range of sexual subject matter, from the basics of first-time sex to esoteric Tantric practice, all focusing on female orgasm, without once making you feel bad if you aren't having orgasms, or if your orgasms aren't what you want them to be. The book is a blend of practical hands on sex tips, interesting orgasm trivia, and helpful ideas for improving sexual communication. 296 pages ,2007

The Science of Orgasm
This excellent book offers an up to date overview of biological and physiological research on orgasm. Not written for laypeople the statistics and technical jargon can be hard going, but for for anyone curious about sexual science who has a little patience and a good dictionary, the results are well worth it. This book is not a how-to on orgasms (see below for books that are) but it is a welcome and much needed addition to the relatively scant body of scientific research on orgasm. 358 pages. 2006.
Orgasms: How To Have Them, Give Them, And Keep Them Coming
Sex educator and best selling author Lou Paget sets out to clear-up some of the mystery of orgasm and offers practical exercises and advice for couples and individuals looking for ways to explore sex together and develop greater orgasms. Pagets books are so popular because they are enjoyable and easy to read, offering supportive advice, never preaching, and focusing on the real goal, which is the experience of sexual pleasure and not sexual competition.

Becoming Orgasmic
A straightforward guide written by sex therapists for women who dont experience (or dont regularly experience) orgasm.
