Sex Toy Review Vixen Creations' Ride On

By October 5, 2009

Follow me on:

The feeling I get when I receive a press release or excited email announcing the launch of a new sex toy reminds me of how it feels when I discover a new Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor. It's exciting, I know that pleasure is on the way, but I also have pretty good idea of what to expect.

But at least once or twice a year I get a real surprise. Having tested hundreds of sex toys hasn't jaded me at all, it fact I find that it makes it easier to know when the toy in my hand (or wherever I happen to be holding it) is more than just another Chubby Hubby knock off.

And so it was when a colleague asked me to try the Ride On from Vixen Creations.

Ride On is a game changer in the world of penile prostheses and male strap ons. Made of incredibly soft and supple silicone, Ride On is easy to clean, feels great, and stays in place without extra straps. With a little practice you can easily integrate the Ride On into your sexual movements and it becomes an extension of your body. After decades of poorly made, aesthetically challenged male strap ons Vixen Creations has done a wonderful thing providing us with this much sought after product that actually delivers.

For the most part toys like the Ride On are used by people who have a penis that doesn't get erect how and when they want it to. Because it requires testicles for the best fit, it's made for people who have that body part. But it isn't just for guys who can't get it up.

I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to push the limits of what is sex and how you have it. If you're used to relying on the feelings in your penis to guide the way that intercourse happens, playing with Ride On is like intercourse for the first time. It forces you to think about how you move, to pay close attention to your partner, and to find pleasure in new ways. If you're in any kind of sexual routine, playing with Ride On is a great way out of it. You just need a sense of humor, a playful and adventurous headspace, and a partner who is willing to do their share. Also, having a vibrator handy helps, since the Ride On takes practice.

Hello.

I order the Vixen Ride on and just been deliver to my door step 2 days ago. I follow the instruction to put it on, I practice about 3 time so when ready I wouldn’t waste my time when the time come to use it with my partner. It was quick and easy to catch the trick. Last night I showed the Vixen to my girl friend to make her comfortable, I let her touch and feel the product so she can be reassure. We did some intercourse and when ready I put on the Vixen Ride On. It when very well and we booth appreciated this experience. The vixen was making one with me following all my mouvement. Vixen is not always part of our intercourse but when She or I want an extra fun or when I have some difficulties to get a full erection we now know we have a plan ”B” and the fun can began !

the wife and i have had this toy for about a year now. great addition to our collection. as noted getting the knack for putting it on takes practice but is well worth it. for the times when you want a little more or want to go on some more! feels great for BOTH of us, which is something that can’t be said for some other extenders! snug enough for me to feel her contractions. a great toy and worth the price!

Hi John,

Vixen may not ship to France themselves, but most online retailers will. Here is a list of sex shops that our readers have reviewed, most have online ordering. If you find one that sells the Ride On and contact them I’m sure they would ship outside the U.S. (in fact one is in Canada, one is in Europe). I hope that helps:

I bought a Ride On, based on this and a couple other reviews. I am pretty disappointed, actually. It is certainly not as stretchy as everyon describes and I found it very difficult to put on. Stretching the loop over my scrotum and testicles was difficult and somewhat painfull. I have moderately sized testicles and scrotum an this is a tight fit and hurts after a little while. Getting inside the ride On is not easy either and I’m only about 5.5×1.5.. Two things I suggest are to use plenty of lube to get it on and you may want to trim or shave your scrotum, to save a lot of hair pulling! Lastly, I suffer with ED and if my penis is not fully erect, it soes not fill the tunnel to the end. As a result, the Ride On bends, where the void is. Once on, it stays in place and works okay but my balls get pretty sore.

Adding some cotton balls at the end to make the toy more rigid helps , if you are not completely errect. Second, it is a bit difficult to get the testicles through the toy, takes and bit of practice. Also agree with shaving the scrotum to cut down on pulling hair while putting on. Small amount of lubricant getting into the toy is advisable, and genorous amounts on the outside of the toy when ready to use. Overall really good toy, but does take practice.
