The basic spooning sex position
In the basic spooning sex position, partners lie in a sort of "snuggling" position, with the partner who is doing the penetrating (in this case our friend A) behind the partner being penetrated. Usually partners will overlap or wrap their arms and legs around each other in some fashion in this position.
Pros of the Spooning Sex Position
- This position offers a lot of physical contact for both partners and a feeling of closeness.
- This is an easy position to get into and doesn't rely on a lot of upper or lower body strength.
- It is a position that allows either partner to add extra stimulation for the partner being penetrated.
Cons of the Spooning Sex Position
- This position does not allow for a lot of leverage for thrusting and both partners may feel like they have less movement and freedom.
- Because of the position with one partner behind the other, this position doesn't allow the partner in front to touch the partner behind very easily.
- While there is a lot of body contact, there isn't any face to face contact.
